| Bullet came to us by a family friend. Him and his wife are getting a divorce and neither of them could keep him because they are now living in apartments and there isn't enough room for him to run. We kept him around for 2 months so we could get a feel for him. He is just wonderful. He loves kids!! They had purchased Bullet for a family pet and has had no field training. When he came here, he got to meet a bird(quail) for the first time and he pointed it. He has the potential of becoming a wonderful hunting companion. We would have kept him to train him but we are already very busy with our dogs and pups. It wouldn't be fair to our own dogs to keep him. Bullet was kept indoors and he is house broken. He don't like to be crated. |

| We have purchased Benelli and her sister from a horrible home in Indiana. Benelli came to us with patches of missing hair and VERY thin. She has been with us for 4 months now and has turned around tremendously. She has been kenneled outdoors her whole life, so you would have to house train her if you were going to keep her indoors. She has been inside with us a few times and she only went to the bathroom once.....House breaking her wouldn't be hard at all as she already has a feel for it. Although Benelli hasn't come from one of our own breeding we still have the same love for her and we are looking to place her with a loving family. She has been introduced to birds and she does point them. She isn't gun shy. Since she has only been with us a short time, and since it was in our prime train season of our other dogs(as hunt test season is here right now), we didn't have time do much more with her. Although we have a lot more money invested in her, then what we are asking, we are willing to take the loss to make sure she is loves the rest of her life. Benelli is very friendly towards people, kids and other dogs. Since we don't own a cat or other animals, we don't know how she will respond to them.....I am sure she would never hurt them but she is a ball on energy and loves to play. She is also up to date on all her shots as we have taken her for them so we have vet records to go with her. |

| Missy's conformation isn't well enough for breeding. Don't get me wrong, she is a beautiful girl but she is a little dopic with her front left leg. Since she was already 4 months old when we got her, we believe she might have had her front left leg broken before we got her.....but we are not sure. She is very soft hearted. We have been afraid to try shooting over her as we are afraid she will be spooked. She loves the birds but we just don't know if she will ever overcome her insecurities of load noises. As you can see by the picture above, she sure points them birds nice but the flushing of the bird, makes her hide her tail and run. She live in the house with us and is 100% house broken. She is also 100% free of chewing anything apart. She is our ONLY dog that we let run the house while we are gone and she NEVER chews a thing. She is VERY loving! She gets along with our other dogs, loves the kids and loves human attention.....DOES NOT LIKE YELLING even if it isn't directed towards her. We are looking to place Missy in a home were she will live indoors at all times! I have to warn you......she does sleep in bed with us....she sure is spoiled!! |

| Dixie is looking for her forever home. She is 6 months old. We had a call from a guy stating he could not keep her and he wanted $500 to cover some of the cost he had put into her. He had her current on her shots. He only parted with her because his little boy was terrified of her so he found himself locking Dixie in her crate for 9 hours a day and then all night while they were sleeping. So, he did the right thing and gave us a call to help him and Dixie with this horrible situation. Dixie did not come from an SOS Breeding. She does have AKC papers...but no breeding rights. We have started her on Heartgard plus and Frontline plus as well. So, she is set to go. Dixie is almost house broken but might have an accident if she is laying and ignores that she needs to go out. After being crated so often, she feels that she don't want to stop playing for a potty break.....poor thing. But after the few weeks she has been here, we have already seen a lot of changes. | This is Zoey! She is AKC registered. She is a sweet girl who has come a long way. Zoey was purchased from Georgia to be part of our breeding program. After a year of evaluating her, we thought we would try a litter with her. After delivering 9 pups, we thought she was a great mother as she did what she was supposed to as each one arrived. After the first few days, we realized, we made a mistake. She had laid on 5 of the pups, killing them. She felt she needed to be SO close to them, that she would lay on top of them. So, after this traumatic incident, we decided to have her spayed. Before we could have her spayed, we needed to get her a health exam and it was time to update her shots. At this time we did a heart worm test and she was positive(she obviously came with this as all our other dogs are negative). So, we treated her for her heart worms, got her shots updated and spayed her. She is ready to spend the rest of her life loved and care for as she is 100% healthy and back on track. Since then, we have been crating her for 3 hours a day and she is adjusting to it very well. She is the most loving GSP we have ever seen. She wants to be with you no matter what you are doing. Once she is outside, she can turn it on. We had her shots updated and had her spayed. She is looking for her forever home. Very loving and needs attention! MUST be kept indoors. | Meet Bailey. She was born at SOS kennels January 15th 2007 to AKC Senior Hunter, Hunter, and AKC Junior Hunter, Sisika. She is a great companion to have but she is ALPHA. She needs to go to a HUNTING home where she IS THE ONLY DOG. Here, she has been in and out of the house with her mom, dad, and a few other males and females who are submissive. We had a ALPHA Weim and they both wanted to fight each other every time they came in eye contact with each other. So, to avoid tossing Bailey around from home to home, we want her to go to a home where she is the only dog....then this will not become an issue for you or her. She is spayed, house broken, likes kids and all people. Bailey was raised with a cat but I can't say she will be ok with a new cat as she was never exposed to a "new" cat. She has had issues with puppies as well. Since she had a litter of pups herself, she seems to not mind them anymore but just as precaution, I would be careful if she was to come into contact with a puppy at some point. She DON'T like the pups chewing on her...which is understandable. As far as hunting skills, Bailey has what it takes to have her AKC Junior Hunter title. The only reason we did not run her for her test is because she is ALPHA and we can't pick a submissive male to run her with. So, we just played it safe and never put her in that situation. She has a lot of energy and she needs to be hunted, or ran often to spend her energy. She also LOVED to swim. She will not work in a home where she is penned up for hours and hours. If you work and she needs to be crated, we suggest that you have an outside kennel for her until you can come home and be with her again. SHE MUST live in the house year round! | Meet Jaeger. Born 7/27/07 He is a very well behaved GSP. He was brought to us because his owners moved and in doing this, they down sized the amount of room they had. Jaeger was not happy with the smaller space and they loved him enough to let us find him a WONDERFUL home. He is here with us and we have updated all his shots. He gets along with all our other dogs. He does not need to be crated while you are out. He is a very well behaved boy(at least for us...lol). If you come meet this boy, you will not be able to turn him down...he is a keeper! He is house broken, a little under weight but we have been stuffing him up some...hehe. Since he is a great house dog, he MUST live indoors all year round. He is great with kids, NOT with cats! He was not hunted so if you are looking to hunt him, you will have your work cut out for you. Jaeger is also intact but is not being sold with breeding rights. We will have him neutered for an additional $250 (as that is what we are charged). We are asking $300 for Jaeger as that only covers the cost of his repeated vet visits to get his shots updated. | this boy is from our kennel and we born to Magnum and Shooter on 06/29/2009. He was returned to our kennel because of his size. He was to much for the wife to handle. He is 80+ pounds and strong. He is a very calm Weim. He is house broken and already neutered. He come with AKC papers and he is update on his vaccines. He will do MUCH better in a home where he has another dog to play with. We have left many times and let him run the house with our other dogs and he has just laid on the couch with them and slept. So, if you plan on leaving him run your house while you are not home, he NEEDS to be with another dog. He also likes to steal food. We have been working with him on this and he has become MUCH better. All we do is carry a water battle. He does very well with this kind of training. We did test his ability to hunt and he has the drive if you want to train him to your liking. He would do fine as a house pet as well. Very good looking dog and very loyal. | Meet DeeDee. She is a 4 to 5 year old GSP. Very calm and quiet. We have rescued DeeDee from the local shelter and had her spayed and had all her shots updated. She is 100% house broken. She will play with stuff teddies, as you can see she was laying on a stuffed teddy in the pictures above. She was chewing on it when i called her name and that is how i got the picture of her smiling...haha! She would make a great companion for any family. She does not run off when she isn't on a leash and she does not pull while on a leash. She does not have to be crated when you leave either. She is a very well behaved girl. She would be ok in a home with a calm dog but not with a puppy or hyper dog as she is very laid back. While on a walk, she went into the field and was "hunting". | This is Thunder. He just turned two at the end of December. We are looking to re home thunder because he is NOT as big as we like. He is a smaller Weim and only goes about 63 pounds. He is house broken and is very calm in the house. He does have his AKC Junior Hunter and he isn't fixed. We are looking for a HUNTING home for Thunder as he has a strong desire to please his master while in the field. Thunder is a natural retriever in the field and loves to play fetch with a ball. He would be great in a home with a female dog. As for a male, he is ok until the male provokes a fight. Thunder is not a fighter but if he is being attacked, he will fight back. This is a HARD decision for us but most everyone wants a HUGE Weim, aka "the Original" Weim, and Thunder was bred down in size for Show. We do not show our Weims, we hunt them. Unfortunately, Thunder does not work in our program. He has excellent hips and is VERY healthy. Great dog for an avid hunter. | Meet Cosby. He was born at SOS Kennels and lived with a couple who had no kids. Shortly after having Cosby, they found out they were having a baby. Now the baby is here and they have no time for Cosby. So, he is back at SOS looking for his forever home. He is 100% house broken, neutered, loves to be with other dogs(as he was taken to the dog park all the time before coming here to our dog park...lol), He is very well behaved in the house as well. Cosby's only down fall is that he has trouble trusting people right up front. he will sit back and watch the reactions as you meet the other dogs that we have here. If he feels safe, he will come up to you. You need to show him that you are not going to hurt him before he can trust you. Not sure what happened to cause him to be this way but he has started getting more brave since he was here. He just needs you to give him a treat or two and he will be your best buddy...lol. In all, Cosby is a WONDERFUL boy and anyone would love to own him. Yes, he is standing on the table in the picture to the left, but that is normally in front of the window with a dog bed ( Sunday is wash day for the dog beds so it was missing when I wanted to take the picture :-) ) on it for the dogs to be able to lay and watch out the window. | This is Otis. He is looking for a permanent home as his owners had a baby and lost the extra time they had for Otis. He is a fun loving boy who is looking for attention. She is house broken and gets along well with kids. She has a tendency to not like sharing food from the same dish as the other dogs but she is not aggressive about it, she just growls. | Bruno is AKC registered. He is intact but does not come with breeding rights. He is great with other dogs(but seems to be bothers by puppies) and he is house broken. Bruno is a calm GSP for just turning 1. He is eager to meet people and is a little hyper for the first minute or two. After the initial excitement is over, Bruno is a calm, fun loving boy. He needs a family where he will have attention and love. He is eager to learn but just needs to be trained to your liking as he didn't have much obedient training. He is not out of control but he just needs to know what to do with all his free time. Right now, he just runs around outside with the other dogs and then coming in and crashes on the couch for hours on end. He has not been exposed to hunting but seems as if he would be a great dog to train for it. Come out and meet Bruno and we are sure you will fall in love with his calm demeanor. Meet Windsor! He has got to be one of the best GSP's around. He is calm and very well manners. He is 10 months old and still intact. He is not from our kennel but comes with AKC papers. | Meet LAYAH! She was born to AKC FC Magnum's King of Aces Junior Hunter and to AKC Junior Hunter Lady. As you can see by the picture to the left, she is a retreiver. | Meet Hunter! He is an AKC Senior Hunter but has been trained to a Master Hunter level, just needs someone to run him for his master title if that is what you choose to do. He is a great house dog and an amazing hunter. He is great with most dogs. He would do better as the only dog, or with a female dog.
