| This is Prince. He is the very first male we kept from one of our own breedings. Prince is near and dear to our hearts, because we kept him in order to carry on a legacy. He is the son of two truly exceptional dogs and hid daddy is definitely a future "hall of famer" who has had a very positive impact on the GSP breed. FC Magnum's King of Aces JH is his name and he was bred with our top female, Saddle Tramps Roxie JH, and that's how Prince came to be. Prince is what most hunters look for and hope for when buying a puppy. He holds point staunchly, hunts methodically, holds on the flush, and retrieves.....all naturally!! Right now we are working on honoring and steadiness to shot, to get him ready for senior hunt tests. Prince is a very loving boy that will never say "no" to a little bit of playing or romping around with us and the kids. He likes to make the cat think that he is hunting her too, but wouldn't dare hurt her. He also loves to claim half of the bed at night! All in all, Prince is just another great example of what a perfectly matched pair of shorthairs can produce. The best of both worlds....house and field. He has not sired any litters, as of yet, but will in the future and we look forward to it. I'm sure he will throw some awesome pups and I'm sure they will help carry on the legacy. Watch out for Prince in the future, as he continues to climb the ladder 'til he's on top. |
